Staff List Pro – Installation

  • Login to your WordPress dashboard.
  • Go to Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin.
  • Browse for a file.
  • Click Install Now.
  • Activate the plugin.

Upgrade From a Free Version of Staff List

  • Login to your WordPress dashboard.
  • Go to Plugins > Installed Plugins > Staff List.
  • Deactivate free plugin Staff List.
  • Click Add New > Upload Plugin.
  • Browse for a file Staff List Pro.
  • Click Install Now.
  • Activate the plugin.
  • Delete the free version of Staff List.

License Key

You can update your premium plugin directly from WordPress admin. To use this option enter and save your License Key.

Updating Staff List Pro plugin

There are four ways to update your premium plugin:

  1. Using the Plugins menu.
  2. Using the Updates menu.
  3. Manually using Deactivate, Delete, Install.
  4. Manually using FTP.

1. Update Staff List Pro from the Plugins Menu.

Click on the Plugins menu item and click the ‘Update now’ link. Your plugin will automatically be updated to the latest available version.

2. Update Staff List Pro from the Updates Menu.

Click on updates icon on the admin bar menu or the Dashboard > Updates submenu item.

3. Manually Update the Premium Plugin Using Delete-Install.

If the automatic update doesn’t work (which might happen due to the failure to communicate with our licensing server) you may want to manually update your plugin. Follow the steps below.

  • Go to our support page and contact us.
  • We will send you the latest version of the plugin file via email.
  • Download the plugin file and save it to your computer.
  • Go to Plugins > Installed Plugins > Staff List Pro.
  • Deactivate and delete the plugin Staff List Pro.
  • Click Add New > Upload Plugin.
  • Browse for a file Staff List Pro.
  • Click Install Now.
  • Activate the plugin.

Deleting Staff List Pro does not delete the plugin data. All templates and staff member records are kept and ready to use when you re-activate the plugin.

4. Manually Update the Premium Plugin Using FTP.

  • Go to our support page and contact us.
  • We will send you the latest version of the plugin file via email.
  • Download the plugin file and save it to your computer.
  • Extract the downloaded .zip file.
  • With your FTP program, upload the extracted plugin folder to the wp-content/plugins folder in your WordPress directory online.
  • The name of the extracted plugin folder should be the same as the name of the existing plugin-folder online. NOTE: Make sure you overwrite the existing plugin files.
  • Your plugin has been updated.

Deleting Staff List and Staff List Pro Plugins

  1. Delete Staff List shortcode from pages or posts.
  2. Delete Staff Member records.
  3. Delete Staff templates.
  4. Deactivate the plugin.
  5. Delete the plugin.
