Is Staff List compatible with PHP version 7?
Yes, both Free and Pro versions are are compatible with PHP 7+ and work without issues on those versions.

Refunds are not available after you have requested and received the License Key
License Key Request.
Will the Staff List Pro work without the license key?
Plugin you’ve purchased and installed is fully functional with access to all the features. You can review and test out the software in its entirety before requesting a license key. Plugin will work without a license key.
License key is required for automated updates.
Does free version require the license key?
No, it does not.
You can download it directly from official WordPress plugins repository.
I’m unable to use automatic updates for Pro version.
Valid license key is required for automatic updates to work. License Key Request.
Automatic updates are offered only on a single WordPress installation where the license key has been activated.
How to change staff list layout (Template Layout).

How to open a link in a new tab or window.
Add prefix NT to the URL. There should be a space between NT and the URL.
Example: NT https://abcfolio.com/
For single page links (SP) use the same prefix: NT SP.
How to make images of the same size.
In a responsive layout images are resized to fit the container. They are not upsized or cropped. To show images uniform in size they need to have the same dimensions or an aspect ratio.
You can use media editor or any other graphic application for that purpose.

Single page doesn’t work.

How to remove single page hyperlink (Profile) from staff page.
It’s a built-in link to a single page. You can easily remove it by setting Show Link to No.
Template Options > Single Page Options > Single Page Text Link > Show Link
Front-end data entry.
Is it possible to allow front-end data entry, so website visitors can fill out a form to add new names into the database?
No, this feature is not available.

How to create hyperlink to call phone number on mobile devices.
For phone numbers select field type Phone or Static Label + Phone
Optionally you can also use field type Hyperlink:
  • Field type Hyperlink.
  • URL: tel:18888888888
  • Text: 1-888-888-8888
WordPress search is quite limited and can’t work with dynamic content. It reads static data saved at post_content and post_title fields located in wp_posts table.
Staff List doesn’t create static content. The records are stored in wp_postmeta table and served dynamically based on requested criteria. A custom query is required to perform any search. The staff page (post_content) contains only the shortcode. There is nothing to search on.
Staff List Pro, Staff List Search and Staff List Table provide multiple and flexible ways to to add custom search. Unfortunately it can’t be combined with built-in WordPress search.
You may also want to look into hybrid pages option. Static content added to these type of pages will work with WordPress search.
Slug ​​doesn’t exist.
Categories menu shows error: Slug ​​doesn’t exist: slug name.
  1. ​Category ​doesn’t exist.
  2. Slug name has been misspelled.
  3. There are no items assigned to the category.
Recommended staff sorting options.
You can choose Post Title or Sort Text as one of the recommended sorting options.
How to duplicate staff template or staff member.
We found plugin Duplicate Page to be easy to use and reliable. Free download from WordPress Plugin Directory.
There are also a few other plugins of similar functionality you can use instead.
