vCard Property – FN

FN – formatted name (required).

The way that the name is to be displayed.

FN:Dr. John Doe

This property has changed from requiring a single instance in vCard3 to one or more in vCard4. There is no advice/guidance/example given regarding how to treat multiple FNs.

Since it may introduce some interoperability problems, Staff List vCard do not provide an option to add multiple names.

Not all fields have to be populated (mapped).

Name parts are displayed in the same sequence as they are numbered (Part 1, Part 2…).

Staff List field type Name Multipart is recommended for FN property data.
