WordPress Plugin Staff List – Admin – Plugin Updates

WP-Cron is how WordPress handles time-based tasks including plugin updates. Sometimes scheduling errors could occur and cron events related to our plugin may fail to run. It can cause other cron jobs not to work as intended.
The easy fix is to temporally switch off Staff List checks for updates.
Check for plugin updates set option to: No.
  • Only update checks of Staff List Pro plugin and plugin extensions will be disabled.
  • No other free or premium plugins will be affected.
  • Setting this option to: Yes, will resume checks for updates.
Do not use this option unless you’ll run into some issues with the WP-Cron queue. Otherwise keep this setting at default value: Yes.
